Just two more days until Halloween and if you don’t have a Halloween costume yet, we’ll let’s face it you’re a procrastinator! But don’t worry; if you have a brown paper bag, the kind you get from the supermarket, and a pair of scissors, then you have a legitimate Halloween costume in the making.
Actor Shia LaBeouof sported a paper bag several years ago after his notorious car flip-hand injury, some times a famous guy wants to go out without getting noticed – although, somehow the paparazzi still figured it all out!
Based on Idaho Larry Craig’s 2007 indiscretions when he was accused of lewd conduct in a public bathroom, another funny paper bag costume was born. A paper bag worn over the head in shame is so apropos and a clever way to make fun of someone infamous – try drawing on a Charlie Sheen face, Snookie face or someone else in the spotlight of shame.
Really, you can do anything you want with a paper bag to create whatever Halloween costume you desire. From happy smiley faces to the latest cartoon characters, go crazy with paints, glitter, feathers and other craft materials to make a quick, easy and inexpensive Halloween costume.
Two Ways To Turn a Pink Sweatshirt Into a Halloween Costume
If you don’t have a lot of money to spend on a Halloween costume, don’t worry a bit about it. You can still look awesome for the seasonal celebration of your choice with merely a pink sweatshirt and a bit of creativity – and if you have some coin to spare, you can pick of a few costume accessories to make your costume squeal in delight.
The easiest ever cheap costume is to go dressed as a ‘Piece of Bubblegum Stuck on a Shoe.’ So this is what you do – take your pink hooded sweatshirt, either a pull-over or zip-up-the-front, it doesn’t matter. The take a shoe, whatever shoe you can spare – a running shoe, a loafer, a sandal, a high-heel or even a slipper. Next, heat up your glue gun and cover the bottom of that shoe with a heavy dose of hot glue and then quickly adhere to the top of the hood. An easy-peasy Halloween costume that is totally bubbalicious – and thank goodness you didn’t step in something worse!
The second idea for an easy Halloween costume to make with a pink sweatshirt is the ever-popular pig costume. Take your pink shirt and glue on a coiled up pink pipe cleaner on the bottom, back hem to stand in as the tail. Now for the ears, if you have a hoodie, make ears out of felt and attach them to the top. If you have a crew-new sweatshirt, make ears by attaching felt to a cheap plastic headband and viola – instant pig!
